We continue to invest not only in the development of iEXExchanger itself, but also in the technologies that power the entire iEX ecosystem. One of the most significant internal projects in recent years has been the creation of our own UI platform — iEXUI.
Starting with iEXExchanger 11.1, all new interfaces, pages, components, and platform features have been built using iEXUI. Today, it serves as the primary UI system of the product and powers nearly the entire client-side experience across the platform.
For many years, we relied on Angular Material to build our interfaces. However, as the platform grew and new products were introduced, we needed a more flexible solution that would allow us to move faster, maintain consistent standards, and have complete control over the evolution of our user interface ecosystem.
That is how iEXUI was born.
The platform is built on modern Angular 21 and Tailwind CSS 4, featuring a unified design token system, light and dark themes, SSR support, accessibility standards, and dozens of reusable components designed for modern web applications.
The primary goal of iEXUI is to provide a unified approach to interface development. Regardless of which product or module is being developed within the iEX ecosystem, all components follow the same standards, deliver predictable behavior, and maintain a consistent visual experience.
For users, this means a cleaner, more intuitive, and more consistent interface. For our development team, it means faster delivery of new features, higher product quality, and the freedom to evolve without the limitations of third-party UI frameworks.
However, iEXUI is not being built solely for our internal products.
Once the documentation and public infrastructure are fully prepared, we plan to make the project available on GitHub. Developers will be able to use iEXUI in their own projects built with Angular 21 and future Angular releases.
It is important to note that the roadmap of iEXUI will continue to be driven by the real-world needs of the iEX ecosystem. New components, tools, and capabilities will be developed based on the requirements of our products and customers. At the same time, every improvement will also become available to external projects using iEXUI.
We view iEXUI as a long-term technology platform that will serve as a foundation for future products across the iEX ecosystem and continue to grow alongside our services.
