We continue to develop iEXExchanger and are preparing several major updates that will affect platform architecture, performance, security, and system maintenance.
Some improvements are already available, with the rest coming in upcoming releases.
Switch from MySQL to PostgreSQL 18
One of the main changes is the transition of iEXExchanger from MySQL to PostgreSQL on the 18th.
We are completely revamping database operations to enhance system stability, speed up complex processes, and improve performance for projects with large volumes of requests, users, and exchange directions.
Switching to PostgreSQL will also lay the foundation for further platform scaling and the development of new features.
One-Click Automatic Updates
A new automatic update system will be introduced in upcoming versions.
You will be able to update iEXExchanger directly from the control panel — no manual file uploads, component replacements, or complicated server commands needed.
The system will automatically download the new version, apply the necessary changes, and verify the update result.
Enhanced security
We have significantly enhanced the security of iEXExchanger.
Changes have affected the admin panel, login processes, trusted devices, access management, and confirmation of critical actions.
Special attention is given to securing administrative accounts and monitoring transactions that could affect the exchange office's operations.
Installing plugins from the control panel
Plugin installation system is evolving in iEXExchanger.
Plugins can be uploaded as a ready-made archive and installed directly through the control panel, without manually modifying project files.
Currently, this feature is used to connect additional rate sources. In the future, the plugin system will be expanded to other parts of the platform.
Frontend Performance Improvements
We continue to optimize the Frontend iEXExchanger built with Angular.
Page loading speed, calculator operation, and processing of projects with many currencies and exchange directions have been improved.
The main goal is to make the interface faster and maintain stable operation even under heavy load.
Migrating Certain Functions to Go
Some high-load processes are gradually being migrated to Go.
This will enable faster data processing, reduce server load, and expand the capabilities of individual iEXExchanger services.
Go will be used where it truly offers an advantage in speed and efficiency.
AI-Enhanced Documentation
We have greatly expanded the official iEXExchanger documentation.
It now covers not only working with the admin panel but also server installation, configuration, security, diagnostics, performance, and other technical aspects.
The documentation can be used alongside AI agents to find answers, troubleshoot errors, and assist with system setup.
Support has also been added for:

— llms-full.txt.
This enables integrating documentation with AI tools and using it as a comprehensive knowledge base.
With the necessary access, AI agents will also be able to assist with technical tasks and server operations.
Library of ready-made prompts
We are preparing a set of ready-made prompts for working with iEXExchanger.
They assist with installation, configuration, diagnostics, security enhancements, server optimization, and other technical tasks.
Users won’t need to create complex queries themselves — they can simply select the appropriate prompt and add their project data.

We continue to update the technical foundation of iEXExchanger and simplify platform usage.
Upcoming releases will include new tools, plugins, ready-made prompts, and additional automation features.
