In the new version, we have expanded the support platform capabilities: added full integration with Telegram, system push notifications for operators, accelerated dashboard loading, and reworked several internal message delivery mechanisms.
The interface has also been updated, stability improved, and the update system refined.
Telegram as a full-featured support channel
Now customers can contact support directly through the Telegram bot.
All messages from Telegram are automatically added to the iEXChat conversation list and managed in the same panel as website inquiries.
The operator immediately sees the source of the inquiry and can manage all channels in a single interface.
Full two-way file and image exchange is supported:
- The client can send a photo, document, or receipt via Telegram;
- The operator will see the attachment directly in iEXChat;
- An image or file can be sent back to the client directly from the panel.
As a result, Telegram becomes part of the overall support system and no longer requires separate operator interaction with the bot or app.
Push notifications for operators
iEXChat now supports system push notifications.
The operator will receive notifications about new requests even if the panel is in another tab or the browser is running in the background.
Clicking the notification instantly opens the relevant dialog.
No additional manual configuration by the administrator is required — the necessary settings are created automatically. The operator only needs to allow notifications in the browser once.
The system also considers user activity: if the required dialogue is already open and the message is visible in the panel, no additional system notification will be sent.
Faster panel loading and performance
Version 1.1.0 delivers major optimizations to both client and server parts of iEXChat.
The message delivery mechanism has been redesigned to reduce database queries. This lowers server load and improves stability with many active conversations.
The operator panel has also become noticeably lighter.
The initial app download size has been reduced by approximately 54%. Analytics, settings, and other heavy components now load only when needed.
Additionally, the number of unnecessary interface updates has been reduced, making working with long conversation lists and active chats smoother.
Updated interface
In iEXChat 1.1.0, work on a unified visual style for the product continues.
Updated light and dark themes, icons, message styling, avatars, date displays, and control elements.
Key actions for a message are now accessible directly next to it on hover. The operator can quickly reply to the message, add a reaction, or open additional options.
The time display has also become more compact and clear — familiar formats like “5 min ago,” “Today,” or “1 d 4 h” are used.
Fixes and stability improvements
The release includes several fixes related to the daily operations of our operators.
Event sounds and test notifications in settings have been fixed.
Microphone access handling improved: if the browser blocks permission, the operator receives a clearer notification explaining why.
Also resolved issues where:
- An outdated preview of the last message could remain in the dialog list;
- The “typing…” indicator continued to display after sending a message;
- Tariff plan restrictions were incorrectly applied in certain operator invitation scenarios.
More reliable update system
The iEXChat update mechanism has been completely redesigned.
The installer now handles files from previous versions more accurately, removes outdated components, and can recover the build if an error occurs during the update.
Database migrations are performed automatically.
Existing settings, license, and project data are preserved.
