iEXExchanger 11.5 — New Installation and Update System

In version iEXExchanger 11.5, the in-house installation and update system is now fully complete. You can deploy the product on a clean server with a single command, and install new versions via the control panel with step-by-step progress, automatic backups, and safe rollback options.

Support for PHP 8.5 has also been added, along with integration with SnapEx, flexible configuration of exchange continuations in messengers, and an updated control panel menu. Special attention has been given to the stability of orders, payments, plugins, authorization, and the client interface.

One-step installation on a clean server

The new system allows iEXExchanger to be installed on a clean server without FastPanel or other control panels.

The installer automatically:

  • checks the server and prepares the necessary environment;
  • installs system components;
  • creates a separate user for the project;
  • configures Frontend and Backend;
  • connects databases;
  • issues SSL certificates;
  • launches queues, background processes, and task scheduler;
  • configures the automatic startup of services after the server restarts.

The setup is divided into consecutive steps. The user sees completed actions, the current stage, and remaining steps.

If some components are already installed and configured correctly, the system checks their status and avoids unnecessary repeated actions. In case of an error, the installation safely stops, displays the cause, and allows you to continue the process after fixing the issue without restarting from the beginning.

After installation is complete, login details for the control panel are generated automatically. They are stored securely on the server in a protected file, along with the panel URL and other necessary information. Each project is assigned unique application and service keys, and the Frontend and Backend connect according to the specified domains.

Website files and application processes run under a separate project user account, not under root. System configurations, backups, logs, and control components are protected separately, and directories receive only the necessary access rights.

Updates from the dashboard

The new update system is fully integrated with the iEXExchanger control panel.

The administrator can:

  • upload files of the new version;
  • wait for the automatic verification;
  • review the update plan;
  • start the installation;
  • track the current stage and overall progress;
  • view the result and detailed operation log.

During the update, the site may temporarily enter maintenance mode, but the panel will continue to receive information directly from the update agent and display the current status of the process.

Fixed build and update release errors. The system is protected against incomplete, corrupted, mixed, or incompatible file sets, and also checks the compatibility of installed plugins.

Restarting the update no longer causes an error: the system recognizes the changes already applied, preserves the saved data, and safely completes the remaining steps.

If the connection is interrupted, the process stops, or the server restarts, the operation resumes from a secure log. Completed steps are not repeated, and the system does not display a false success message.

Backups and Version Rollbacks

Before each update, a database backup and the current version state are always saved. If the backup or checkpoint is not prepared, the update will not start.

A separate report is saved for each operation. It shows:

  • source and target versions;
  • start and end time;
  • execution result;
  • backup data location;
  • List of completed stages.

If necessary, the administrator can initiate a rollback. The system will save the current state, restore files and the database to the selected version, restart services, and verify the product's functionality.

After a rollback, you can return to the new version again. The installation, update, rollback history, and user actions are saved in the control panel. There, you can see who uploaded the files, who confirmed the operation, when it was performed, and what the result was.

Old unused versions can be deleted manually after reviewing their contents and size. The active version and data needed for a safe rollback are protected from accidental deletion.

Support for PHP 8.5 and clean servers

Full support for PHP 8.5 and new server infrastructure has been added in iEXExchanger 11.5.

Product installation no longer depends on FastPanel or Debian 12. The proprietary installer iEXExchanger deploys the system directly on a clean server without third-party control panels or their associated limitations.

Active projects on Debian 12 with FastPanel can continue running. Immediate mandatory migration is not required.

However, the full range of new features will only be available on clean servers without control panels. These include:

  • one-command installation;
  • updates from the control panel;
  • automatic backups;
  • safe rollback and reversion to the new version;
  • resuming operations after outages;
  • automatic configuration and management of services;
  • further updates to the server environment.

The server control panel can automatically change configurations, overwrite settings, and restrict management of system services. Therefore, it is impossible to fully operate the entire new automated system on such servers.

A separate transition plan will be prepared for existing clients moving from FastPanel and Debian 12 to the new server infrastructure. Until the transfer, you can continue using the current installation and update method.

Testing the new system

A full verification cycle was completed on a clean server before the release:

  • initial product setup;
  • several consecutive updates;
  • rollback to the previous version;
  • repeated update to the latest version;
  • creating and restoring backups;
  • administrator authorization persistence;
  • Site operating in maintenance mode;
  • recovery after server reboot;
  • Synchronizing the control panel status with the server agent.

All main installation, update, and rollback scenarios completed successfully.

Integration with SnapEx

Full SnapEx support added for processing payments and executing payouts.

The integration supports automatic verification of transactions, balances, and statuses. When configuring currencies, you can select specific networks separately for merchants and payouts.

Continuation of exchanges in messengers

Flexible continuation of exchanges in connected messengers has been added. This feature is no longer enabled simultaneously for all clients and directions.

Continuation of the exchange can be enabled for selected currencies and networks on the "Giving" side. Each direction has its own rule:

  • use currency settings;
  • force allow continuation in the messenger;
  • completely block forwarding in the messenger.

Bulk adjustment of settings is also available for directions. By default, this feature is disabled and does not alter the existing workflow.

Unnecessary actions have been removed from the order page when continuing the exchange in the messenger. However, the client can still cancel the order or return to the exchange on the website. Only relevant data is displayed at every stage.

The payment time setting has been restored to its usual place. The countdown and the selected action after the deadline continue to function both on the website and in connected messengers.

Updated control panel menu

The control panel menu is now more flexible and ready for further plugin system development.

Now you can add not only groups but also individual sections at any level. Plugins can create their own items and tabs with customizable names, icons, access rights, and optional counters.

A separate "Plugins" section has been added with a list of installed and ready-made solutions. The "System Updates" section now opens directly from the main menu.

The design of menus, analytics, and plugins has been unified. The persistent highlighting of the “Overview” item has been fixed, sizes, fonts, icons, and spacing aligned, correct links restored, and consistent cursor behavior ensured.

The favorites feature has been improved. When hovering over an item, a gray star appears; hovering over the star changes its color to gold, and items added to favorites remain marked. The background, title, and element positioning no longer change when an item is favorited.

The menu supports all available admin panel languages.

Reading Mode Restrictions

Fixed the 'Updates' section functionality for administrators with read-only access.

In this mode, you can view versions, system status, operation history, and activity logs. Uploading, installing, rolling back, restarting, and deleting updates are disabled, so users without the necessary permissions cannot accidentally alter the system state.

Improvements in Orders and Client Interface

Empty order lists in all tabs now display a clear, unified message indicating that orders will appear after creation or updating current filters.

Fixed the number of successfully completed requests for users. Previously missed values have been restored, and new requests are counted correctly. Data is accurately displayed in the user list, client profile, and request card without additional server load.

Fixed an issue where submitting a request failed when receiving overly long browser or device information. Such data is now fully saved and no longer interferes with exchange creation.

On mobile devices, after creating a request, the client no longer returns to the homepage but goes directly to payment.

If the discount program is disabled or not configured, the system no longer tries to apply a discount and does not interfere with the creation of the order.

Email Authorization and Verification

Fixed an issue where the client's real email address could be replaced by a system address in the application.

Customer email is now displayed correctly:

  • in the list of requests;
  • in the application card;
  • in the chat;
  • in notifications;
  • during inspections.

If a client enters an already registered email, they can first verify it with a code and log into the account, or immediately create a request and log in later on the payment or tracking page.

The bug with confirming the application using the code from the email has also been fixed. After entering the correct code, the application is properly created, opens under the correct number, and links to the account. Previously affected applications are automatically corrected to the proper status after the update.

Verification of details and currency sorting

Fixed validation of details in the "From Account" and "To Account" fields. Each side of the exchange now uses its designated validator. Settings no longer override each other, and one side's validator does not affect the mandatory status of the other's details.

Fixed the currency sorting in the exchange form. The order in the "Give" and "Receive" blocks now exactly matches the settings and works consistently with or without categories.

Currencies within categories are no longer mixed with the general list, options from the same network are displayed in the correct order, and disabled or temporarily unavailable directions do not appear among the available options. Changes to the order are saved correctly and displayed on the website.

Card Verification

Card verification reliability and security have been enhanced.

Now it is forbidden to:

  • submit an application for a disabled or unavailable currency, including Bitcoin;
  • to open a closed form via direct or external request;
  • create a repeat request;
  • upload inappropriate, identical, or excessively large photos;
  • sending requests too frequently;
  • cancel the verification request from the client side.

If the service is unavailable, the verification button will not be shown. Standard verification in the personal account continues to work for approved currencies.

Group Fees

Group commissions functionality has been fixed. They are now created correctly again, and the number of linked directions is shown before deletion.

After confirmation, the fee is automatically removed from all related directions along with the group. The directions themselves and their other assigned fees remain intact. There's no longer a need to open and clear each direction manually.

Affiliate Payments

Fixed the partner balance withdrawal form.

You can now switch between multiple withdrawal methods without delays. The wallet field appears immediately, fees and total amounts are calculated correctly, and the "Withdraw Funds" button becomes active after selecting a method and entering the details.

The form no longer freezes or requires multiple page reloads. The output works consistently for both actual affiliate payouts and manually added balances.

Payment gateways and ready-made plugins

Fixed an issue with the 2328.io gateway where the network commission was always deducted from the recipient's amount during payouts. The system now correctly applies the selected commission payer and other payout settings.

Rapira and 2328 are again available in the “Ready Plugins” section, install properly, and do not disappear after system updates.

News, Cities and Countries

Fixed an issue in version 11.4 where new posts in the news section might not save. Now, content is created correctly, images upload properly, and the author is assigned automatically.

Fixed adding and editing cities. Translated city and country names are now properly handled in the selected language and no longer cause errors when saving.

The country list now supports deletion with confirmation and instant list update. If the country has linked cities, the system will cancel the deletion and inform how many cities must be relocated or deleted first. This protects related data from accidental loss.

Version iEXExchanger 11.5 lays the foundation for the product's future development: server installation and maintenance are automated, updates are controlled and reversible, and the daily work of clients and administrators becomes more stable and secure.
