We are pleased to announce the release of version 11.1.8 of the iEXExchanger platform.
In this update, we focused on enhancing platform extensibility, securing order creation, managing the main page, protecting rates, and improving interface stability.
The release includes a new plugin installation system via the admin panel, flexible management of main page sections, comprehensive exchange rate insurance, security enhancements, and various internal improvements.
New Features
Installing plugins from the admin panel:A full-fledged plugin installation system has been added directly in the control panel. Now the administrator can upload plugin archives, preview them before installation, connect external rate sources, manage installed plugins, enable and disable them, check their status, and monitor compatibility with the current system version.
External rate sources via plugins:After installing the plugin, new rate sources appear in the standard rates section and function like regular sources. Currency pairs are created disabled by default so the operator can first verify the data and then enable only the required pairs.
Managing the main page sections:A new block management system for the homepage has been added. The administrator can enable and disable sections, change their order, customize titles and descriptions in different languages, and select the position, width, and background of blocks.
Exchange rate insurance for directions:A rate protection system has been added for exchange directions. You can now enable insurance separately for the desired direction, set a safe rate, configure allowable deviations, and automatically respond to critical rate changes.
Main page management
Flexible block configuration:Managing reserves, news, reviews, advantages, statistics, popular directions, latest exchanges, and partners is now accessible from a single place.
Setting Up the Exchange Block:The exchange block settings section has been improved with a clearer preview and redesigned logic for displaying themes and interface options.
Homepage loading optimization:The exchange form loads faster when handling many currencies and directions, reducing page load stress and improving display stability after loading.
Multilingual settings:Main page settings have been updated for multilingual sites to ensure sections work correctly in different languages.
Rate Insurance
Flexible security configuration:The insurance rate can be set manually, obtained from a rate source, or calculated using a formula.
Allowed deviations:Added settings for allowable upward and downward deviations, as well as a minimum threshold to protect against minor fluctuations.
Checks and History:You can manually run checks, view activation history, and receive clear information about the reasons for protection triggers.
Automatic actions:In case of a critical deviation, the system may automatically apply a safe rate or disable the direction.
Administrator notifications:When protection is triggered, the administrator can receive notifications.
Security
Order creation protection:Data verification has been strengthened when creating orders. The system now accepts only valid data from the current exchange form and disallows extra or unauthorized fields.
Protection against suspicious shipments:Enhanced protection against attempts to create orders externally and mass suspicious submissions, while the regular order placement process for clients remains unchanged.
Protection for chief administrators:The protection of the main administrators group has been enhanced. Permissions are no longer tied to the displayed group name, so renaming or translating the name does not affect access.
Group permissions security:Regular groups with similar names will no longer accidentally gain extra privileges. Messages in the admin panel have also been made clearer for users.
Plugins and Extensibility
Secure plugin module build:The plugin management module coverage has been extended in the secured product build, while plugin installation in the admin panel remains stable and unchanged for the user.
Version Control:Added the ability to rollback to previous plugin versions and check compatibility with the current system version.
Settings and confidential data:Plugin settings and sensitive data are stored separately, making it safer and more convenient to work with external modules.
Preparing for new types of plugins:The system is prepared for further expansion to support merchants, automatic payouts, verifications, and other external modules.
Interface and Usability
Site Menu:Improved menu behavior on scroll. Navigation items no longer overlap or get cut off.
Adaptation for different screens:The page is now cleaner and more predictable across different devices.
Plugin installation interface:The section for installation, verification, plugin list, currency pair management, and notifications has been adapted for the admin panel and translated into the panel languages.
Interface stability:Improved overall smoothness and stability of the website and admin panel.
Fixes and optimizations
Reserves and Amounts:Fixed issues with displaying reserves and formatting amounts.
Exchange form:The initial loading of the exchange form has been accelerated, and performance has been improved for a large number of currencies and directions.
Homepage:A more flexible foundation has been prepared for further expansion of the main page without burdening users unnecessarily.
Internal improvements:Additional fixes, optimizations, and stability checks have been completed before the release.
